Hudson Automotive Group, a company headquartered in Kentucky, announced Oct. 24 it has entered into an agreement to acquire Vic Bailey Automotive, a Spartanburg-based company with five dealerships and one collision center.
The transaction is expected to close in December and Vic Bailey Automotive’s dealerships will be rebranded to:
- Volkswagen of Spartanburg
- Spartanburg Honda
- Subaru of Spartanburg
- Ford/Lincoln of Spartanburg
- Mazda of Spartanburg
“We are very honored and excited to add the Vic Bailey Automotive dealerships to our growing portfolio in the Southeast,” said Hudson Automotive Group President David Hudson. “These are great brands in a market that we like and know very well and will expand our footprint in the upstate along with Spartanburg Toyota and Lexus of Greenville.”
Hudson Automotive Group owns over 49 locations in Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Ohio and Alabama.
