6AM City, a local daily newsletter company based in Greenville, announced Feb. 2 it closed its series A funding round led by TEGNA Inc., a media company based in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
The funding round was also supported by follow-on investments from existing stakeholders including American Investment Holdings, VentureSouth and Harbright Ventures.
