The concert venue, bar and restaurant Cowboy Up is rebranding as The Foundry at Judson Mill and will reopen to the public on Jan. 6, 2023.
Originally known for its focus on country music acts, the venue’s rebranding comes as it seeks to better reflect its expanded range of musical genres and bigger named artists, according to owner and developer Howard Dozier.
The 10,000-square-feet space located in the Judson Mill District at 701 Easley Bridge Rd. will undergo some changes during its closure from now through the new year, including new signage, although the rustic aesthetic of the interior will remain the same, Dozier said.
There’s no word yet on whether the venue’s giant mechanical bull will remain as a feature of the space.

The rebranding also comes as the venue plans to make what Dozier calls an announcement regarding a “major partnership in the coming weeks.”
For the time being, customers will see minimal changes to the business operations once it reopens.
