GE Vernova announced March 3 it had completed acquisition of Fort Collins, Colorado-based Woodward Inc.’s Greenville production facility for gas turbine combustion parts.
The move follows on the heels of GE Vernova’s announcement in January it would invest more than $160 million in its Greenville gas turbine production facility and hiring of about 650 new employees.
The Greenville expansion is part of a larger $600 million investment in a number of the company’s U.S. facilities to expand production capacity and strengthen domestic supply chains.
GE Vernova acquired all assets related to Woodward Inc.’s Greenville site, and the financial terms of the acquisition are not being disclosed.
