The Hub City Spartanburgers baseball team have scheduled a job fair ahead of their inaugural season in Spartanburg this April, the team announced Feb. 20.
The job fair will take place March 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Spartanburg Marriott, 299 N. Church Street.
With an array of staff positions available, the job fair seeks to highlight ways for anyone to get involved, engage with the community and contribute to the excitement of game days at Fifth Third Park.
Individuals will have the chance to apply and interview for positions, which include ushers, ticket takers, security, grounds crew, production and food and beverage associates, among others. The team plans to host additional hiring events closer to MiLB Opening Day, April 4, for specialized roles such as the anthem singer and mascot.

The first game at Fifth Third Park will be April 1 featuring Wofford versus USC Upstate.
The Spartanburgers will begin the season on April 4 against the Aberdeen IronBirds (Orioles High-A affiliate), before officially opening Fifth Third Park on April 15 with the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Rays High-A affiliate).
