Peter Dunphy, an executive at Michelin, has retired from board leadership with the South Carolina Research Authority and its investment affiliate SC Launch.
For more than eight years, he has been a member of SC Launch’s board. He also served as board chairman.
During his tenure on SC Launch’s board, the organization invested more than $12 million into more than 60 companies.
“I’m honored to have served with Peter,” said SC Launch Inc. Executive Director and SC Launch Director Matt Bell. “His leadership has been instrumental in leading this program over the last seven years. He is an important part of why SC Launch is the program it is today. Peter’s legacy is an important part of the South Carolina entrepreneurial ecosystem, and I will always be grateful for his leadership.”
For the past 26 years, Dunphy has worked with Michelin, where he has served in several roles, including CFO, global services and solutions. He serves as director of finance and administration for Michelin’s B2B Franchise Networks.
