Anderson-based TacMed Solutions is joining in the fight to help Ukraine in its war with Russian forces.
TacMed so far has donated:
- 53,000 emergency blankets via NGOs (non-government organizations)
- 500 tourniquets and 500 BLAST bandages dispersed via Samaritan’s Purse
- 500 tourniquets and 500 BLAST bandages to be delivered via Ukrainian American Foundation
“We felt it our duty to work with these organizations to deliver our products that will help save lives to those in desperate need in the Ukraine,” said TacMed CEO Will Wennberg.
According to a news release, TacMed Solutions develops and manufactures emergency response technology, advanced simulation and training aids, and personal protective gear for warfighters, first responders and citizens to effectively manage emergency care.
