THS Constructors Inc., a Greenville-based design-built construction management firm, has recently expanded into the Spartanburg market with the purchase of Solesbee Construction.
Solesbee Construction was originally established in Spartanburg in 1936. The company has grown its extensive portfolio of church, medical, office and retail buildings in the county.
Dana Emberton, president and CEO of THS Constructors, said the acquisition of Solesbee Construction allows the firm to expand its capabilities into new sectors and areas of the state.
“Spartanburg is a thriving market, and we are excited to bring our expertise and commitment to quality construction to this community,” Emberton said.
THS Constructors has also established a new office in Spartanburg at 1 Real Estate Way. Since opening its doors, the firm has secured multiple key projects in Spartanburg including the construction of Xytel Inc.’s expansion project.
