Sluggish GDP, tenacious inflation cloud US economic outlook, Upstate expert says

Ongoing inflation, rising consumer debt and weakening jobs numbers are among the indicators that point to a fragile U.S. economy.

The career fair will bring together aviation and related employers from across the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport campus.

Fluctuations affect productivity, quality, labor costs and workforce stability.

The call center features workspace for 150 Samsung employees, along with a training lab for workforce development.

The investment in Greenville over the next two years is expected to generate an additional 550 jobs.

The move is expected to create 65 jobs.

The facility is expected to be operational by September 2024.

The Gray Court facility is 1.69 million square feet at 2846 N. Old Laurens Road.

The investment is expected to create 40 jobs at Flame Spray’s facility at 576 International Blvd.

The total investment and number of jobs expected to be created by the project have not been made public.
