Upstate butcher shop and grocery AM-PM Farms Butchery & Market will open a location on Main Street in Travelers Rest in August.
Although an exact opening date was not given, owner Ashley Moore said it is expected to open in the next three or four weeks. The market expanded from Fountain Inn to a second location on Greenville’s Laurens Road in May. The second location opened just after a mid-December fire which forced the butchery and artisan shop to relocate from its former location in downtown Fountain Inn to AM-PM Farm at 3085 Allen Bridge Road.
Moore said each location feels a little different.
“It’ll actually be our largest square footage-wise,” she said of the Travelers Rest location.
The store and market will offer grab-and-go items and a broadened produce selection, complete with shopping carts. Moore said the primary focus, as with each AM-PM location, is the butchery.
The store will be located just off the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail between Bridge City Coffee and Farmhouse Tacos at 164 S. Main St. It was formerly home to Palmetto Proper. It will open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
