Greenville-based Methodical Coffee is opening in Columbia, it’s fourth location and the first outside the Upstate.
The upcoming coffee shop will be located at 2149 Pickens St. in the city’s Bull Street District. The new location is expected to open in November 2024.
The two-story location in the mixed-use complex will total roughly 3,400 square feet. It will have indoor-outdoor seating on a covered patio, a coffee bar and a retail element. The shop will also feature a separate room called The Library, intended for training, demonstrations, private events or just as a quiet sitting area.
It’s been just more than a month since Methodical Coffee announced the acquisition of Greenville’s Bake Room. The Columbia location will offer Methodical’s coffee and grab-and-go elements, including apparel, sandwiches, quiches and coffee beans, as well as Bake Room classics like fresh bread, croissants and morning buns.
Methodical Coffee has three Greenville locations at 147 Welborn St. B3 in The Commons, 207 Wade Hampton Blvd., and 101 N. Main St. Suite D.
