Phase II Express, the fast-casual joint serving up diner food and American comfort classics out of the Village of West Greenville, is hitting the road with a new food truck set to launch this week.
Owner Christopher Parks has had the truck parked outside his brick and mortar spot at 1225 Pendleton St. for the last few weeks, waiting until he had translated his popular dishes for a to-go setting.

The restaurant and its new mobile iteration is a labor of love for Parks, who said his business model is simple: make the best food he can and thrive on word-of-mouth to drum up business.
Serving up sweet corn hush puppies, French fries, onion rings, fish, chicken wings and burgers, he makes everything fresh to order. His Westside burger, made from two juicy patties loaded with cheese, bacon, special sauce and onion rings, is the crowd pleaser.
If you stop by, he’ll be there every day.
“For me, really I just want to let people know if there’s something they want to do in life, they can do it,” Parks told Upstate Business Journal last year. “Everything in life is attainable. You just got to put the work in. Nobody is going to give you nothing. That’s really about it. But I will say this: I’m the best kept secret around here.”
