Taco Tuesday dining options are expanding again.
Taco Boy Taqueria, a restaurant founded in Folly Beach, is coming to Greenville, the eatery announced Feb. 8.
The restaurant, which is expected to open in summer 2023, will occupy the former Farmhouse Tacos location at 1813 Laurens Road.
Taco Boy is planning to update its new home by expanding the building’s patio for additional outdoor seating and transforming the interior to include an in-house tortilleria to allow for the production of fresh tortillas.
“We’re really focusing on curb appeal,” said Taco Boy Founder and Co-Owner Karalee Nielsen Fallert. “We love the stretch of Laurens Road and proximity to Swamp Rabbit Trail. The location has served as a catalyst to improve that whole space. We’re expanding the outdoor patio for gathering and dining. And while the shell of the building will remain, the interior won’t be so recognizable.”
Once open, Taco Boy’s daily menu will include:
- Tacos
- Quesadillas
- Rice and beans
- Chipotle slaw
- Mexican street corn
- Guacamole with optional toppings
Diners may also order margaritas and Mexican-inspired craft cocktails. The restaurant will also offer a weekend brunch menu, which will feature:
- Breakfast tacos
- Huevos rancheros
- Churros French toast
