Greenville County-based online monogramming company Marleylilly LLC announced plans to build a 72,000-square-foot headquarters facility for its production, processing and distribution operations in Greer. The company’s $10 million investment is expected to include 69 new jobs over the next five years, according to a news release.
The exclusively online apparel and accessory company was founded in 2010 in Greenville County and has outgrown its existing building. Slated for completion in early 2016, the facility at 300 W. Phillips Road in Greer will include 12,000 square feet of office space to support Marleylilly’s fulfillment services.
Marleylilly sells monogrammed merchandise from Marleylilly.com and non-personalized boutique apparel from its sister e-commerce site, Mondaydress.
“When we began monogramming on a sewing machine in our living room five years ago we never dreamed we would be blessed with an opportunity like this expansion project,” said Marleylilly Owners Chad and Kelly Owens in a news statement. “Moving every six months to accommodate unexpected growth is a struggle for any growing business, but it has been a reality for us since 2010. Our dedicated staff deserves this beautiful new facility, and we cannot wait to see the looks on their faces when we open the doors in 2016.
