Bon Secours St. Francis Health System will open its eighth AFC Urgent Care Bon Secours location on Aug. 19 at 649-A Haywood Road in Greenville.
“Convenient access to care is paramount for today’s population, and that’s exactly what Bon Secours is looking to do with this new facility on Haywood Road,” said Bon Secours Medical Group chief operating officer Ann Allen. “Bringing an urgent care location to this area will enable Bon Secours and AFC to offer patients enhanced access to care and improved quality of care, at a reduced cost.”
The 3,166-square-foot facility will feature five patient rooms, including a procedure room as well as an on-site x-ray. It will provide care for patients aged two years and older. The center’s urgent care treatment will cover everyday illness and injury, including treatment for allergic reactions, colds, flu and upper respiratory infections. It will also provide lab testing, stitches, and treatment for broken bones, sprains and strains.
In addition, the AFC Urgent Care Bon Secours location will offer workers’ compensation, injury care, pre- and ongoing employment screenings, DOT physicals and regulatory exams. Sports physicals and immunizations will also be provided.
The center will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8. p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Our centers are open on all major holidays in order to provide our community with access to compassionate, quality health care,” Allen said.
The urgent care center joins seven other Greenville County centers located on Pleasantburg Road in Cherrydale, Grandview Drive in Simpsonville, Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer, Wade Hampton Boulevard in the Taylors area, and Woodruff Road, Pelham Road and Augusta Road in Greenville.
