Here is what’s on the agenda for the city of Greenville’s Design Review Board Sept. 26 meeting.
Mosaic
The Design Review Board will review proposed design plans for the Mosaic, a mixed-use development in Greenville’s West End. The project will consist of three, five-story buildings with:
- 231 multi-family units
- 19,000 square feet of commercial and grocer space
- 8,500 square feet of indoor tenant amenities
- 379 underground parking spaces
The Mosaic will be located on South Academy Street, North Calhoun Street, Perry Avenue and Ware Street. Saint Capital LLC, a Greenville-based development and investment firm, is developing the project.
The city’s Planning Commission approved two new street names for the project on Aug. 1.

Greenville Gateway
Proposed architectural design details for the mixed-use development at 250 N. Church St., commonly known as Greenville Gateway, will be reviewed by the Design Review Board. The plans were previously on the board’s Aug. 15 agenda but were deferred by the developer, NR Investments.
The board will review the facade designs, exterior materials and colors for the development. According to the application packet, the applicant will return for a final review of the project’s landscaping and architectural lighting.

Pendleton Street Hotel
A four-story hotel is planned to be constructed on Pendleton Street in downtown Greenville. Beauxwright, a Charlotte-based real estate developer, Wintergreen Hospitality and Equip Studio, will create the project.
Located at 515 Pendleton St., the hotel will include 92 rooms, amenities, meeting rooms, event space and a rooftop terrace and bar. Space for three commercial tenants will also be available on the building’s first floor.
The building’s proposed exterior designs will be reviewed by the Design Review Board.

420 Unity Village
The Design Review Board will review plans for a residential development one street over from Unity Park. Named 420 Unity Village, the project will consist of five two-story buildings with 21 single-family attached units.
The project will be located at 420 Birnie St.
