Candice Lewis was selected as vice president of learning and workforce development with Greenville Technical College.
She will succeed Larry Miller, who was named the college’s third president.
Lewis served as dean of the Greenville Technical College School of Health Sciences for the past decade, where she oversaw 15 programs, developed and strengthened partnerships that enhance student success, and worked to ensure that the health sciences programs are supporting employer needs.
She also spent five years as a laboratory technician in a plant molecular genetics research lab at Cornell University and has participated in various research studies.
Lewis is a graduate of Furman University, Greenville Technical College, Midwestern State University and Wingate University.
