Darren Lipscomb joined Tri-County Technical College as chief student services officer and vice president of student affairs.
He is responsible for providing strategic leadership for all student services and programs. He oversees enrollment and retention initiatives, student engagement, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Lipscomb has more than 15 years of higher education experience, including 11 years at Delaware Community College, where he served in roles such as academic advisor, student activities coordinator, assistant director of admissions and director of outreach, recruitment, and enrollment services. He also worked as associate vice president for enrollment management at Community College of Philadelphia and is a veteran of the Army National Guard, where he served seven years as an intelligence analyst.
He is a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Widener University and Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law.
