David Clayton was appointed to the Artisphere Board of Directors as a member of its Public Art Committee.
He works as executive director of the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research and assistant vice president for corporate partnerships and strategic initiatives with Clemson University.
Clayton served as executive director of the Greenville Technical College Center for Manufacturing Innovation, director of the research division at the South Carolina Department of Commerce and senior design engineer at General Electric Gas Turbines and Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel.
