David Tompkins was promoted to senior vice president, commercial banking manager with Countybank.
He will be responsible for the overall management and strategic vision of the commercial banking department for the Greenwood, Greenville, Greer, Simpsonville and Anderson markets.
Tompkins joined the organization in 1996 and has worked in retail customer service and as Greenwood market executive.
He serves on the boards of Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont, Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont Foundation and Piedmont Technical Foundation. He served as board chair for Self Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees, Greenwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greenwood Family YMCA. He is a member of the Greenwood Rotary Club.
Tompkins is a Lander University graduate. He holds a Wharton Leadership Certificate from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.
