Derek Lewis was appointed as to the Community Foundation’s board of directors.
He also works as executive director of Greenville First Steps, a local organization that provides funding to improve early-childhood outcomes throughout Greenville County.
Lewis served as an elected member of the Greenville County Schools board of trustees.
He serves as a gubernatorial appointee to the SC Joint Citizens and Legislative Committee on Children, as well as the boards of the SC Children’s Theatre, Blue Ridge Association of Boy Scouts, Greater Good Greenville and United Way Impact Committee.
