Jan McDonald will retire as North Greenville University’s director of athletics on May 31.
She served with NGU Athletics for 41 years, including more than three decades as director.
McDonald joined the school in 1983 as an assistant and began North Greenville’s softball program in 1985, leading that program for 18 years. She has also taught a variety of courses, served as an assistant volleyball and basketball coach, and started the women’s soccer program in 1986.
She is a graduate of Erskine College and Furman University.
