Larry Flynn was appointed to the University of South Carolina’s Board of Visitors.
He is an attorney with Pope Flynn, a law firm that concentrates on public finance and governmental law.
Flynn has served as counsel to a number of cities and towns and provided legal advice to other governmental and business entities.
He is a certified mediator and arbitrator, and a planning commission instructor.
Flynn is also serving his second three-year term on the South Carolina Supreme Court Historical Society board. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar’s Memory Hold the Door committee, a 30-year member of the Spartanburg Rotary Club and past chair of the Spartanburg School District Seven school board.
