Gina Bridges recently joined the United Way of Greenville County’s program OnTrack Greenville as a family support specialist.
Bridges will serve as a bilingual liaison and build relationships between families, students and participating OnTrack schools, including Carolina High School & Academy, and Berea Middle School, Lakeview Middle School, Tanglewood Middle School and Greenville Early College.
Before joining OnTrack, Bridges managed volunteer coordination and provision of direct human services to immigrants and refugees seeking self-sufficiency at FIRN, Inc., based in Columbia, Maryland. She also served as program coordinator with FASTStart at the Pennsylvania State University’s Paul Robeson Cultural Center, and as a teacher and vocational guidance counselor at a men’s medium security state correctional institution. She is a graduate of Lock Haven University.
