Holisa Wharton, PhD was recently named to the Greenwood Genetic Center’s (GGC) board of directors.
Wharton currently serves as dean of the William Preston Turner School of Nursing at Lander University. She is a registered nurse with a MS in nursing education and a PhD in healthcare genetics from Clemson University. Wharton has a longstanding research interest in the genetics of prostate cancer.
