The 14 single-family homes will be three-story “row homes” featuring large outdoor living areas with small yards, two-car garages and views of downtown. Some plans include private elevators and an optional solar package.
Homes will be energy-efficient with spray-foam insulation, tankless water heaters, energy-efficient windows, a high-efficiency HVAC system and water-efficient fixtures, said designer/builder Trey Cole.
Each city home will have an “urban loft feel” and have three or four bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms in 2,400-3,000 square feet.
Homes are priced from $540,000-$757,000 and will be built as they are sold. Cole is offering a one-year guarantee that gas and electric costs will not exceed $150 per month.
A May 17 open house in planned on the site from 2 to 4 p.m.
