Plans have been submitted to the Greenville Design Review Board for a restaurant and bar named Whiskey Hotel located at 724 S. Main St.
The drawings submitted by Greer-based Anthrotects Architecture show the project would utilize an existing building on the property as well as a new addition.
The main floor of the restaurant would have a bar area with a fireplace and wine cellar, as well as an 8-by-11-foot stage.
The second floor would offer a rooftop bar and terrace dining area with a canopy roof. A large neon-type “Whiskey Hotel” sign would add to the theme of the restaurant.
The plans will be reviewed at the Jan. 8 DRB meeting.
