Hotel Hartness in Greenville has officially switched to in-house management, the boutique hotel announced June 29.
The transition to owner management occurred after the hotel concluded its management agreement with Hay Creek Hotels, a New York City-based hospitality company. According to the hotel, the transition will not impact current reservations, guest services or daily operations.
“Hotel Hartness was created to offer an experience deeply rooted in hospitality, community and a sense of place,” said Sean Hartness, president and CEO of Hartness Development. “Bringing management in-house allows us to further strengthen that vision while maintaining the exceptional level of service and guest experience our visitors have come to expect.”
The hotel’s existing leadership team will remain in place during the transition to in-house management. Hotel Hartness General Manager Glen Williams said the team has been integral to the hotel’s success.
“We remain deeply committed to delivering distinctive, highly personalized experiences while thoughtfully evolving to enhance every aspect of the guest journey,” Williams said.
Hotel Hartness, located at 120 Halston Ave., features 73 guest rooms, a luxury spa, two on-site dining venues and an executive conference center. The hotel opened in 2022.
