On April 27, BridgeWay Station will host its long-awaited grand opening.
The $150 million development in Mauldin broke ground in 2021 and has been opening business-by-business in recent months. Most recently, the town center welcomed new eateries and a food hall.
The project was led by Hughes Investments, designed by McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture and built by Harper General Contractors.
Inspired by old-world architecture, the development resembles an Italian plaza. It will include a pedestrian bridge over Interstate 385 that will connect to the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail. The development includes restaurants, retail, co-working spaces and apartments.
The grand opening will take place from 4 to 8 p.m., with the ribbon cutting at 5 p.m.
BridgeWay Station is located at 1000 Via Corso Ave., just off I-385.
