Here’s what you might have missed at the March meeting of theDesign Review Board (DRB) Urban Panel for the city of Greenville:
Approved: 153-unit apartment project at Westfield and Broad streets
The panel unanimously approved a new 153-unit, seven story apartment project at the corner of Westfield and Broad streets being developed by Washington, D.C.-based Red Fox Development Company.
The project includes a podium parking structure, an elevated pool deck facing Westfield Street and two plazas along Broad Street that would allow public access.
The panel approved a certificate of appropriateness with conditions, among which are requirements to include canopies and overhangs at each entrance to make them more easily identifiable, and review of a scaled mock-up of the project showing examples of the primary exterior materials.
