Old Edwards Reserve at Lake Keowee has broken ground on its first real estate offering in more than two decades.
Laurel Village will consist of 24 luxury cottages spread across approximately 12.8 acres overlooking Laurel Pond within the private residential community in Sunset. The new residential enclave will include a mix of three- and four-bedroom cottages, each with outdoor entertaining spaces.
Tim Boeve, general manager of Old Edwards Reserve, said Laurel Village has been thoughtfully envisioned to complement the natural beauty and established character of the community while introducing a new opportunity for ownership.

A new private putting course will be constructed in the center of Laurel Village for residents to enjoy. Laurel Village will also be adjacent to the community’s driving range, future golf performance center and planned short course designed by Beau Welling Design.
Edgens Herzog Architects, a North Carolina-based architecture firm, designed the new residential enclave off Laurel Pond Way within Old Edwards Reserve. Each cottage features a sophisticated mountain-inspired design.
Fountain Inn-based P+F Construction serves as the general contractor for the project. Construction of Laurel Village is expected to be completed in the summer of 2027.
