Graycliff Capital Development LLC, a South Carolina-based real estate investment and development firm, has opened Cotton Mill Apartments within walking distance to downtown Simpsonville.

Cotton Mill is a Class A multi-family community combining new construction and historic renovation.

The development includes a completely new residential component with one, two,
and three-bedroom apartment homes and a 19th century textile mill building renovated into a historically re-purposed clubhouse and amenity area.

The clubhouse maintains its original manufacturing character with exposed brick walls, wide-plank wood flooring, arched windows, and tall ceilings with exposed metal beams. The historic mill textile stack and water tower were preserved as well.

“Creative Builders was honored to help lead the design/build process of the Cotton Mill and in breathing life back into Simpsonville,” said Will McCauley, president, Creative Builders Inc. “The preservation of the mill’s main office and boiler room maintains Simpsonville’s history in the Upstate, bringing character back to a growing and vibrant community. Projects like this are a once in a lifetime opportunity to truly fulfill our company mission statement and purpose of ‘Building a better tomorrow… today’, which is less about the physical building itself and more about the lives within our projects and the communities around them.”
