Ashland plans $5.6M improvement of Greenville County factory

Specialty chemical company Ashland Global Holdings will spend at least $5.6 million improving one of its factories in Greenville County, according to a news release from the South Carolina Department of Commerce.

Ashland, based in Covington, Ky., is making upgrades to the Piedmont plant’s infrastructure and production capabilities in order to accommodate continued growth, according to the statement.

The factory at 410 Old Pelzer Road makes high-performance, pressure-sensitive adhesives and speciality resins.
