A prominent assisted living and memory care community in Spartanburg County has changed hands for $10 million.
California-based LTC Properties Inc. recently announced it acquired the 87-unit Inverness at Spartanburg at 2720 Country Club Road in a joint venture with an affiliate of Hickory, N.C.-based Affinity Living Group.
LTC said the facility will be operated by the Affinity Living Group affiliate under a “triple-net lease.”
“We are continuing our strategy of providing innovative and flexible financing solutions in response to the changing needs of regional operating partners,” said Wendy Simpson, chairwoman and CEO of LTC, in a statement. “Affinity has a strong presence in the Southeast, and we welcome them as a new partner.”
According to LTC, Affinity operates 92 assisted living, memory care, and independent living facilities in eight states.
Affinity’s website indicated the company is hiring for several positions at the Spartanburg facility including medication technician, dietary aide, cook, housekeeper, certified nursing assistant, and sales director.
