City Glass brings expertise, craftsmanship to commercial glass construction
In every construction project, it’s important to be on the same page about the vision, end goal and materials that are to be used. Asking the right questions — and finding trustworthy people who know what they’re talking about to answer those questions — can make all the difference.
City Glass offers a wide range of services including windowpane replacement, decorative cabinets and custom glass cutting, but its true specialties lie in storefront design and signature glass-construction projects. Their portfolio includes an array of high-profile projects that have left their mark on the region, including the distinctive storefront designs of Patrick Square in Clemson and the breathtaking glasswork of churches like NewSpring and Church at the Mill.
City Glass also designed the Bleckley Station event venue, which features stunning window elements and balcony doors, and the Anderson Area YMCA, with its captivating windowed front face. Another standout project is the Michael S. Brown Village Center, where arched windows illuminate the interior of the renovated office and residential complex. And at Clemson University’s Andy Quattlebaum Outdoor Education Center, gorgeous two-story glass walls help bring the feel of nature indoors.
Innovation and quality craftsmanship can be hard to find in the construction industry, and finding trustworthy providers can be even harder. That’s why longevity and company values matter, and why so many people are drawn to businesses like City Glass, which has been family owned and operated for almost 75 years.
“We’ve never lost sight of the importance of honesty, integrity and genuine quality in every project,” says Shawn Holland, owner of City Glass. “That’s how we’ve done it since 1949.”
City Glass serves a wide geographical area encompassing Upstate South Carolina, Western North Carolina and Northeast Georgia. This seasoned business has established itself as a reliable partner for business clients — and they’re always at the forefront of glass design and installation techniques, continuously staying abreast of industry advancements. With expertise in commercial glass and glass construction, the company exhibits a commitment to personal relationships and a passion for delivering outstanding results, positioning them as a trusted name in the region.
