Greenville-based BDV Solutions, a company helping immigrants earn a path to citizenship through work programs, acquired Argo Visa, another Greenville company providing consultative services to visa applicants.
“By using Argo, clients ensure they have the best and most accurate information on how to prepare for a successful visa interview,” said immigration attorney and former U.S. diplomat Chris Richardson, who also serves as BDV Solutions’ COO and general counsel.
BDV Solutions is the largest independent company in the U.S. that works with businesses to place foreign nationals in entry-level positions. They’ve worked with industries such as food service and manufacturing to ease worker shortages and help immigrants get a work history.
Argo Visa’s staff have worked in 34 countries, speak a combined 14 languages and have conducted more than 1 million visa interviews while holding roles with the U.S. Department of State as former visa officers.
“While Argo’s staff of highly skilled and experienced former officers offers the best path forward for aspiring visa applicants, it also complements BDV’s ability to help U.S. employers find and retain much-needed workers,” said Argo Visa’s president, Ron Vergnolle.
