Clayton Construction Co. Inc., a commercial general contracting company founded in 1981, is moving its corporate headquarters to downtown Spartanburg, the company announced Sept. 3.
The move to 316 W. Main St., a building formerly occupied by Event Rentals, is expected in early 2025 and will place the company in the heart of Spartanburg’s resurgent downtown.
The building was originally built by Clayton but has been redesigned by McMillan Pazdan Smith to reflect the company’s values, operational needs and future growth, according to the announcement.
