The final piece of the redeveloped The Mill at Fountain Inn is now officially open.
A food hall – featuring Bingbi Sushi, Birria Boy, and Bistro 44 – opened Nov. 15 but a ribbon cutting was held Dec. 17. Its developer, Innovative Hospitality & Development, was joined by Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce President Marnie Schwartz-Hanley.

The former flour mill’s renovation broke ground in February 2023 but the project has been underway since 2021 when CEO Bryan Beal first visited the site.
“I have had three years now to come up with the words for this, and I still somehow can’t find them, but the one that keeps coming back to me is ‘grateful,” Beal said. “Grateful for this community, grateful to this city, grateful to everybody that was involved in getting us to this point.”

The site features the food hall, green space, a video screen and a brewery. The first part of the project was completed in the spring of 2024, and the historic site-turned-brewery opened June 3.
Beal also led the rebranding of another Golden Strip site, Vaughn’s Food Hall.
The Mill at Fountain Inn is located at 100 Ellison St.
