Sandvik Coromant, a Swedish tool manufacturer, announced Sept. 21 it will expand its operations at 2424 Sandifer Blvd. in Westminster to add a production line.
“By strengthening the Westminster site, we ensure high-end production capabilities and a customer-centric innovation approach,” said Sandvik Coromant U.S. president Sean Holt. “This means that we will have two major sites within driving distance from each other where we can provide our customers and partners a fully integrated customer experience and state-of-the-art immersion into the latest technologies and machining applications.”
The transfer of production to Westminster is expected to be fully operational in the second quarter of 2022.
