Southern Tide has moved to its new space in downtown Greenville.
The Upstate-founded retail business moved from 84 Villa Road in East Greenville to 711 W. Washington St. in the historic – and recently renovated – Borden Building.
The business was in need of a larger space to accommodate growth and desired a space that was functional with the right aesthetic to match the brand. The new headquarters offers added work space and conference rooms, as well as offices.
CEO Carey Ann Campbell said the team was thrilled to be part of the downtown Greenville community with a space that met its needs.
“We’re incredibly excited to be here. Being close to Unity Park has been a tremendous add for our company,” Campbell said. “Our team really wanted to be downtown. They wanted to be in a more collaborative space. [We’re] really excited to be part of the Greenville community and the space enables that.”
Restoration of the building was led by The Furman Co., with renovations beginning in 2022.
Southern Tide was founded in Greenville in 2006. The brand highlights a coastal flair in attire and can now be found in over 700 stores throughout the United States.
