Table 301 Restaurant Group has changed its name to Table 301 Hospitality.
The business first opened with Soby’s New South Cuisine in 1997. Over the years, the group has grown to include more than restaurants. Its founder, Carl Sobocinski, felt a name change would better represent its focus on the community.
Notably, Table 301 has fostered the opening and eventual independent ownership of several Greenville mainstays including Jianna, Passerelle Bistro, Southern Pressed Juicery and Papi’s Tacos. Table 301 also started a scholarship program, Table 301 University, for employees pursuing higher education.
The name change was made official at the beginning of November.
Table 301 Hospitality includes Soby’s, The Lazy Goat, Nose Dive, Camp, and The Jones Oyster Co., as well as Table 301 Catering. It recently opened its first restaurant outside of downtown Greenville, Tavola, located at BridgeWay Station in Mauldin.
