Popular lifestyle brand Free People will soon open on Greenville’s Main Street in the former Hudson Blake space at 119 N. Main St.
The space totals roughly 3,300 square feet between Mast General Store and Savannah Bee Company. This is South Carolina’s second location, with the first being on Charleston’s King Street.
An opening date has not yet been given but the store is currently hiring. Representatives from both Free People and Hudson Blake could not be immediately reached for comment.
Free People falls under the URBN brand which first began with a store called Free People in West Philadelphia in the 1970s. It eventually led to Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie – which also has a location downtown – Free People and Nuuly, a clothing subscription service, among others.
Those interested in working at the store can apply at stores-na-urbn.icims.com/jobs.
