The new company headquarters will occupy the second floor of the two-story building located at 3A Legacy Square at Hollingsworth Park, which also currently houses the Verdae YMCA. Dan Wagner, the firm’s president, said that while the company loves downtown Greenville, he believes Verdae “is the next big thing,” offering a central location with ample parking.
The Greenville YMCA closed recently on approximately 12 acres of land for future expansion at Verdae.
Belhaven Village at Hollingsworth Park, the newest neighborhood in Greenville’s Verdae development, is ahead of schedule and will be ready for home sales beginning in January. Verdae made the announcement this week, saying the 40-acre, 147-home neighborhood built by Ryan Homes will be ready earlier than expected.
Construction is already underway at the corner of Rocky Slope Road and Verdae Boulevard for three medical practices that will be locating to the 1,100-acre master-planned community of Verdae. The practices – Parkside Pediatrics, Palmetto Family Orthodontics and Upstate Pediatrics – will be located in three separate buildings.
“The city has targeted the road for a rebirth for several years. It was once a strong retail corridor, and this plan will revitalize the area,” said Greenville Mayor Knox White.
