Magnetic South Brewery at Judson Mill near downtown Greenville will close Sept. 28. The location first opened in March 2023.
Magnetic South announced the closure on its website and it was confirmed by a representative of Hughes Agency, which handles communications for Judson Mill. The post said the downtown Anderson location will remain open.
“We love you, Greenville,” the post said. “Our time at Judson Mill has been an epic journey, but now it’s time for a new adventure! We’ve loved being a part of Greenville’s awesome beer scene, and though our Judson Mill location is closing, our craft isn’t going anywhere — you can still catch our tasty brews at your favorite bars and restaurants all around South Carolina!”
The brewery’s owners could not immediately be reached for more information.
Similarly, Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant announced that it will close all locations. The announcement was made by social media on Sept. 25.
The brewery had a location at 741 Haywood Road across from Haywood Mall. Its owners could not be reached for comment and its website is no longer active.
