MooHogz Craft BBQ, located in The Commons at Greenville’s Unity Park, has permanently closed.
The closure was announced on social media on Feb. 20.
The family- and veteran-owned barbecue restaurant started in 2022 as a food trailer at Hampton Station in Greenville. MooHogz Craft BBQ opened its brick-and-mortar location in The Commons in the summer of 2024.
“As time went on, we adapted in every way we could. Eventually, we had to be honest about what was sustainable for our family, and we realized it was time to close this chapter,” the post said. “So we step into the next season with gratitude and peace. We’re taking time to rest, reflect and listen before deciding what comes next.”
The Commons is located at 147 Welborn St. in Greenville.
