Mr. Crisp will serve its last meal Nov. 15. The seafood restaurant, which opened in 2022 in Greenville’s Overbrook neighborhood, made the announcement via social media, noting that it was a “goodbye for now.”
The post mentioned a farewell chef collaboration dinner on Nov. 5.
The restaurant was founded by the team behind The Anchorage. Owner Jim Canavos could not immediately confirm what may take over the space at 1501 E. North St. next to Vintage Coffee Cafe but believes it will be a quick turnaround.
“Ultimately, we love the community,” he said. “Frankly, we’re super proud of everything we did there. Wish we could have a 10-year run, but that’s just not how this one’s playing out.”
