Plans to open a location of Charleston-based eatery Taco Boy in the Upstate have come to a temporary halt.
In a February check-in with restaurant group All Good Industries, it seemed Taco Boy would begin its road to opening on Laurens Road sometime this year. While it appears the business still intends to open in Greenville, it will not be at the originally planned location.
The property at 1813 Laurens Road is currently up for sale with Coldwell Banker Commerical.
“We view the Laurens Road location as an excellent opportunity,” said Karalee Nielsen Fallert, CEO of All Good Industries. “While our immediate focus has pivoted to refining our latest series of restaurant openings, our long-term plans remain firmly committed to expanding in Greenville.”
The brand has added three new locations in North Carolina recently – West Asheville in late 2022, Biltmore Park in 2023, and Charlotte’s LoSo station in January 2024.
