The People’s Tap held a grand opening on Jan. 7 in downtown Greenville.
The bar at 250 Riverplace features a variety of craft beers and domestic offerings as well, in addition to wine, ciders and seltzers, with an interactive menu that allows patrons to give feedback on the fly.
“With the feedback we’re receiving, those votes from patrons will affect a visual menu on the wall,” said co-owner Julia Belcher. “Guests will be able to see what the favorite beer on draught is right now, but also we’ll be able to take this information and adapt our menu to meet what people want the most.”

The tap room offers a menu of small bites from the in-house kitchen, but the full menu of the nearby Papi’s Tacos will also be available. Patrons need only place an order and the food from the Papi’s Tacos kitchen will be delivered to them inside the taproom.
The People’s Tap is open:
- 4-9 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday
- 4-10 p.m., Friday
- Noon-10 p.m., Saturday
- Noon-8 p.m., Sunday
