Foxcroft Wine Co., a wine bar from Charlotte, has signed a lease as of Feb. 3 for the building at 631 S. Main St. formerly occupied by another Charlotte-based restaurant, Brazwells Premium Pub, according to Foxcroft management.
The Charlotte Agenda posted a story Jan. 10 about Foxcroft’s Charlotte-area renovations and also announced the upcoming Greenville expansion, but the deal was not yet finalized until February.
Owner Conrad Hunter also told the Agenda about the choice to expand to Greenville: “There’s also a possibility of a second Dot Dot Dot location there,” referring to the culinary-driven, members only cocktail bar concept in Myers Park, Charlotte.
We can’t wait to show you our new digs @foxcroftwineco South Park. We’ve been hard at work on renovations the last week. We will be open for retail, wine by the glass, and cheese and meat boards tonight. Please visit our Dilworth location for our full menu #foxcroftwineco #southpark #clt #clteats #cltwine #newdigs
Foxcroft currently has two Charlotte locations, in Dilworth and South Park.
From Foxcroft’s website:
“We not only offer the city’s best and most eclectic selection of Wines-by-the-Glass, but also your choice of any selection on our shelves at normal retail prices. In addition to our comprehensive wine selection, Foxcroft Wine Co. also serves fresh local small-plate cuisine prepared from scratch daily to complement and accompany your wine.”
In addition to the wine selection that runs the gamut from domestic, European, South American, and South African, Foxcroft also offers a selection of craft beers on tap and by the bottle and can.
Charlotte-based Bottle Cap Group, which also owns Ink N Ivy, SIP Whiskey & Wine Bar, and Wu’s Cajun Seafood in Greenville, announced that Brazwells Premium Pub closed permanently Oct. 16.
