A new grant program will give $10,000 worth of marketing services to a local non-profit four times a year, starting in December of 2019.

From now until Nov. 25, 2019, the FUEL 2020 Quarterly Grant Program is accepting applicants from local nonprofits in need of marketing services. To be eligible for the grant, applicants must:

  • Be based in Greenville County
  • Hold a valid 501(c)(3) certification
  • Have an identifiable need for marketing assistance

The grant, to be awarded in early December, will be the first iteration of the program, launched by the marketing agency FUEL, which is located in downtown Greenville.

FUEL President and CEO Warren Griffith said in a statement that the grant program is in line with the company’s overall mission statement.

“Our driving purpose is to help people succeed,” Griffith said. “We carry the same desire and passion for local nonprofit organizations because the work they do is indispensable to the Greenville community.”

FUEL has been working with non-profits since its founding, according to Senior Vice President and COO Meredith Kinsey, but this is the first time the company has opted to make it a structured program.
